The Delta Project

Estefania Araujo is interested in the photograph as an element of trace when examining the past and analysing historical moments and cultures. She looks for the residues and vestiges of information and through a process of intervention creates new narratives. The Delta Project is a series of prints she developed during a residency at Proyecto Ace, Buenos Aires.
Estefania Araujo lives and works in London. She studied Fashion and Photography in Spain before gaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Photography at Central Saint Martins and an MA Visual Arts (Printmaking) at Camberwell. She has taken part in residency programmes in Argentina and Austria, and exhibited in 'The Zeitgeist Summer Exhibition', Doomed Gallery, East London Photography Festival and the 'Limited Editions' group show at Lubomirov-Easton Gallery.
